Fine Victorian example of 79th {Cameron} Highlanders Dirk

Seldom Found Victorian 79th Highlanders Officers Regimental Dirk The dirk is complete with Bog Oak Handle which retains its full compliment of original studs. The pommel is quite striking being highly decorated with "79" in the form of a badge. The scabbard is of traditional construction with leather over wood with three decorated gilt mounts. The clip backed plain blade is in excellent condition & exhibits no damage with only slight staining. All highlighted areas are sharp with no evidence of excessive polishing No maker mark.
In our opinion it would be difficult to upgrade
